 We offer continuing education you can take from the comfort of your own home. These courses are designed for beauty professionals who want to complete continuing education in the areas of Marketing, Hand Facial and Spa Pedicure. In addition to nail technicians, licensed cosmetologists may also take these courses for CE credit. The courses are easy to use and are a great way to help fulfill your CE requirements. Remember that you can only take half of your required CE hours through correspondence (including online). The rest must be taken in the classroom.
You may choose to take our courses via mail order or online (two of the three courses are available online). Simply download the appropriate order form, fill it in and mail or fax it with payment. The course will be mailed to you or, if you choose the online option, a user name, password and link to the course will be emailed to you within 48 business hours of payment confirmation (an online registration and payment option will be available soon).
Program #1 - Spa Manicure/Pedicure & Marketing

INTA's home study course #1 is designed to teach practical technique and application along with the marketing ideas to put your skills to work. The program is divided into three sections along with a short quiz and a Home Study program evaluation completed by the applicant. The three sections of study are as follows: Spa manicure, Spa pedicure, and Marketing your new skills.

Program #2 - Career Opportunities in the Beauty Industry

INTA's home study course #2 is designed to give an overview and basic information on work opportunities available to beauty professionals. This program is divided into two sections along with a short quiz and a Home Study program evaluation completed by the applicant. The two sections focus on different types Employment Opportunities.

Program #3 - Basic Nail Art (this course is not available online)
(This program earns Licensed Illinois Nail Technicians & Cosmetologists 2 continuing education hours)
INTA's home study course #3 is designed to give the nail professional a basic skill level in nail art. The techniques described in the course will allow the nail technician to complete the nail art designs in this course and develop his or her own personal nail art. This program is comprised of a multitude of nail art designs and a Home Study program evaluation to be completed by the applicant. The bulk of the Home Study concentrates on re-creating nail art.
