America’s Beauty Show & MODERN Salon Magazine Want YOU to show off your hair, fashion and makeover styling skills. Celebrity judge NICK ARROJO will select three talented winners to receive a trophy and $850.00 at America’s Beauty Show! Winning entries will be featured in 
MODERN Salon Magazine and receive additional publicity. Winners also receive a pair of KASHO Professional Shears!
WHO CAN WIN?
Professional stylists holding a current cosmetology license. You may enter as an individual or as a salon team of three (stylist, colorist & makeup artist).
WHAT CAN YOU WIN?
Three winning MAKEOVER photo entries (by individuals or salon teams) will be selected by celebrity judge Nick Arrojo!
Each of the three winners will receive
- $850 from Cosmetologists Chicago and a trophy.
(Only one $850 award and trophy per salon team.)
- Pair of Kasho Professional Shears.
- Winning photos featured in MODERN Salon Magazine.
- On-stage award presentation by Nick Arrojo at the 2008 America’s Beauty Show.

TIPS FOR ENTRANTS
- Storyboard your concept. Sketch, or cut pictures from a magazine that define the look you want for the hairstyle, haircolor, makeup and wardrobe.
- Use a professional model. If you do not use a professional model, use someone with model-like facial features.
- Use a professional makeup artist. Your model's skin should be flawless.
- Use a professional photographer. If you do not use a professional photographer, work with someone who has experience photographing people.
- Photograph your model in a professional setting, such as a photo studio or a portrait studio. If photographing outdoors, your model, and not the background, should be the focal point.
