Your Educators:

LIZA ESPINOZA, ARTISTIC TEAM

“I firmly believe that each person on the planet is unique and beautiful, and it is my great pleasure to bring that out!”  @MODALIZA2

While working as a salon receptionist as a student, Liza began to appreciate the thoughtfulness, talent and perception that it took to be a great hairdresser. Now a salon owner herself, what began as a love for the art turned into a passion for the person wearing the hairstyle. “As an educator I am very passionate about sharing and motivating others to be their very best, and doing everything I can to elevate this wonderful industry,” she shares. Liza’s focus is on clients’ relationship with their hair after they leave the salon: “It’s not only about making people look great, but feel amazing…and providing them with the right hair care to make it work every day!” She adds, “Moroccanoil products are phenomenal, and my salon has long supported them. I feel a deep connection to innovators, and what the brand has done to change the industry speaks a lot to the mindset of the company.” With experience in the worlds of print, runway, film and celebrity styling, Liza brings a unique point of view to any project from conception to execution. As a dedicated and dynamic artist, Liza has enjoyed many accomplishments, including multiple North American Hairstyling Award (NAHA) nominations. Her ingenuity has earned her a vast editorial styling portfolio that includes work in industry and fashion magazines such as Modern Salon, American Salon, Vibra, Estetica, Vogue Italia, Dark Beauty, Canadian Hairdresser and more.

STEFFAN TRICOCI - REGIONAL EDUCATION MANAGER

“I love Moroccanoil because we never settle for mediocre.” @STEFFANTRICOCI

Midwest Versatility, adaptability and passion define Steffan Tricoci. His career has spanned globally, working in high-end salons from Chicago to Rome as a cosmetology instructor, platform artist, CEU Sponsor and more. Drawn to the dynamic, ever-changing environment of the beauty industry that gives him constant inspiration, he spins creative insight into stimulation for education and trend forecasting. His experiences among different, exciting cultures while traveling in his work inspired an uncanny ability to acclimate to any given situation. Inspired by Alessandro Abei to think outside the box and trust his inner artistry, Steffan has styled hair for magazines including Modern Salon, Salon International, Estetica, Beaux, Fashion Faces and Dark Beauty. He competed in Organisation Mondiale Coiffure World Cup, the Olympics of hairdressing, in 2016, placing in the Avant-Garde category. Steffan comes from a legacy of hairdressers, being the third generation of stylists. He considers his Zio (Uncle) Joe his greatest mentor. “He made me appreciate the craft and pushed me to educate not only myself, but those around me,” Steffan remembers. “After 60+ years in the industry, he still works five days a week behind the chair and is as passionate about the industry today as he was on his first day in the salon.” His other major inspirations include his family, and the passionate hairdressers that attend his classes and love to share their knowledge and experience with the next generation of hairstylists. He even launched his own business, SJT Creations, to help professionals continue their education. This attention to detail and yearning for perfection is something that Steffan and Moroccanoil have in common. “I love Moroccanoil because we never settle for mediocre,” he explains. “Every product and technique is tested until perfected, and only then is it released into the world. As a hairstylist, Steffan loves to create unique looks for each individual he comes into contact with. As an educator, he thrives on creating the perfect custom hair care and styling regimen for every client.

As you know, women often arrive at a shelter with nothing but the clothes on their backs. We also know beauty helps everyone we come in contact with every day in our salons and spas. Your gifts will provide survivors the essentials they need as they build lives free from abuse.

If you are interested in donating, please bring to this event!:

We will have boxes onsite for collections. Anyone who donates will receive a voucher for a FREE CC FIRST MONDAYS class in 2020!

By all of us donating something we can help make the lives of so many women – and their children – a little more beautiful.

CAWC’s mission:
Connections for Abused Women and their Children (CAWC) is committed to ending domestic violence. Using a self-help, empowerment approach, we provide a shelter for adults and children, counseling, advocacy, and a 24-hour hotline for people affected by domestic violence. We work for social change through education, service collaboration, and institutional advocacy.

The shampoos and hair care products donated through America’s Beauty Show will help survivors across all of CAWC’s programs. Many domestic violence survivors arrive at CAWC without clothing or personal belongings. Your gifts will provide survivors the essentials they need as they build lives free from abuse.
