January Contest | NEW YEAR, NEW ME

January Contest | NEW YEAR, NEW ME

2020 was a rough one and came with many hardships and lessons, but the start of a new calendar year brings hope, excitement and motivation for change. A fun way to feel a sense of renewal is by switching up your look! We want to see how you, or your client, are making a change going this new year. Choppin' all your hair off? Trying a fun color? Shaving off your beard? Doing your makeup for the first time in what seems forever? This can be as drastic or as simple as you want it to be. Show us your Before and Afters, tag #ABSreborn and let's see how YOU are moving into the new year.
During each month's contest, America's Beauty Show will be teaming up with a specific charity to raise awareness of what they represent. In January, we will be teaming up with Wigs for Kids.
We can't wait to see all the new transformations! (Extra points for donating a ponytail!)
January Theme:
New Year, New Me

This month we are supporting Wigs For Kids!

For over 30 years, Wigs For Kids has been providing Hair Replacement Systems and support for children who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, AlopeciaTrichotillomania, burns and other medical issues at no cost to children or their families.

The effects of hair loss go deeper than just a change in a child’s outward appearance. Hair loss can erode a child’s self-confidence and limit them from experiencing a normal life.

Wigs For Kids is accepting HAIR and Financial donations. They are following all health and safety guidelines. If you are interested in donating hair, remember the three c’s: free of color & chemicals, clean, and completely dry.
