Over the last 30 years, Eric Fisher has opened four salons that are repeatedly voted Best Hair Salon in Wichita and named among the Top 200 Salons in America. With 100 hairdressers and estheticians performing over 10,000 services monthly, the salons are a buzz with business. In New York City, where he was named the most newsworthy hairdresser in America with mentions in all major publications like Vogue and Allure. During his time in NYC, Eric also worked for the famed Roger Thompson Salon.
In Eric Fisher Salon where he brought the European concept of styling, assistants and apprentice philosophy to Wichita, KS. He opened the Eric Fisher Academy which has since grown to be one of the leading beauty schools in the nation with both a cosmetology program. From this, Prosper U was developed in 2012. The Prosper U Pro app, Style With Knowledge, Fast Track and Be Wildly Successful are all part of the Prosper U family and continue to service thousands of students and service providers across the country.
During his outstanding career, Eric has won countless industry awards including two Global Business Awards in Spain and London and an entrepreneurial award from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA in 2004 and 2006. He won the Jerry Gordon Leadership Award from the Chicago Cosmetologist Association, named one of the Top 75 Educators of the Century and Top 10 Living Legends by top beauty industry publications. He has been nominated over 25 times for the North American Hairstyling Awards as a hairdresser and photographer and has won numerous local and state business awards, such as Best in Business. Eric Fisher is gifted with a rare combination of versatility, creativity, and business skill that has earned him global recognition and appreciation. Oscar Bond began his long history as an industry educator at the esteemed Vidal Sassoon Academy in London. He was a member of the International Artistic and Show Team for Sassoon before taking the giant leap to independence in 1987.
His mastery of the craft and gift for teaching has taken him worldwide for the past 25 years. He has worked in almost every city in the world and all over America. In 1994, he joined the Aveda Artistic Style Council and was appointed Head of Education for the Aveda Institute in New York – Soho. At Aveda, he was responsible for implementing a robust yet straightforward haircutting system, delivering the latest trends through weekly advanced haircutting classes, national-level shows, and seasonal photographic sessions. In 1998, he began the tremendous task of putting his years of knowledge and expertise into ownership.
Magazines such as; In Style, Mademoiselle, Jane, Marie Clare, Self, GQ, Details, YM, Soho Style, Time Out, Teen Vogue, Color and Style, Wall Street Journal & Vogue featured Oscar. His salon is one of New York City’s Top Salons. Oscar has a strong connection to the fashion world, mastery of cutting, and passion for adapting to the ever-changing eye of style.
