Pekela also created brand specific Texture Curriculums for International beauty and tool brands - such as the esteemed Dyson Hair; ideating, writing, and leading their first ever global Texture Curriculum. Pekela’s passionate work ethic and intuitive leadership style has placed her out front for international hair care campaigns as Global Artistic Director for L’Oreal Mizani – in addition to numerous legacy brands including Revlon, Creme of Nature, Pantene Gold Series, Secret Deodorant and Adidas. Her beautiful coiffures have graced the pages of Vogue, Essence, Allure, People, Modern Salon, Black Enterprise and many more. Entrusted for her versatile skill, Pekela’s celebrity stylings include silver screen queens: Regina King, IssaRae, Teyonah Parris, Danai Gurira, Dewanda Wise and Gabrielle Union to name a few.
