Ammon Carver, a distinguished and award-winning hairstylist celebrated for his sophisticated aesthetic and outstanding portfolio, has crafted a career adorned with 13 nominations and 5 prestigious victories. Notably, he clinched the Master Hairstylist of the Year and Salon Team of the Year awards at the North American Hairstyling Awards in 2015, showcasing his commitment to excellence. His most recent triumph includes the prestigious Leo Passage Award at the Global Image Awards in 2023, underscoring his continued dedication to industry leadership. Hailing from Salt Lake City, Ammon initiated his career in Colorado, where he discovered the transformative power of his scissors. His rise to prominence featured pivotal roles at Warren-Tricomi Salon in the Plaza Hotel, New York, and Mizu Salon, followed by an illustrious 12-year tenure as the Artistic Director at Matrix, a division of L’Oreal. As a key spokesperson for Matrix, he traveled worldwide, connecting with professionals and consumers through various media platforms. In 2014, Ammon was appointed as the Creative Director at L'ANZA Healing Haircare. He played a pivotal role in imagery, creative content, brand development, and artist training. A notable presence in the editorial world, his work graced the pages of esteemed publications like Vogue, Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar, Vanity Fair, and American Salon. Ammon's stellar clientele included celebrities such as Kate Beckinsale, Molly Sims, Amanda Seyfried, Kirsten Dunst, and Leighton Meester. During his time in New York, Ammon established the Ammon Carver Studio, a unique blend of a salon and photography studio embodying "likeable luxury." Committed to authenticity, the studio offered a distinctive experience and engaged in philanthropic endeavors worldwide. Subsequently, he took on the role of Chief Artistic Director at Ulta Beauty, where he influenced salon and services direction, and provided guidance, and training to stylists nationwide. Collaborating with the Ulta Beauty Pro Team and Design Team, Ammon pioneered on-trend offerings and ensured comprehensive training for Ulta Beauty stylists across the country. Ammon's recent achievements include multiple victories at the 2023 Global Image Awards, two nominations for Barber and Editorial at the 2024 North American Hairstyling Awards, and the prestigious Leo Passage Award win in 2023—further solidifying his reputation for innovation and leadership in the beauty industry.
