Dana Racana embarked on her journey in the beauty industry at 18, stepping into the realm of EsteĂŠ Lauder as an assistant manager. In 1996, she transitioned from department store cosmetics to the salon world, joining Mario Tricoci Hair Salon & Day Spa as a makeup artist. Evolving further, she delved into esthetics, spending over two decades on Chicago's prestigious Michigan Avenue as an Esthetician. Alongside her expertise in skincare, Dana earned a Massage Therapy license, enhancing her holistic approach to wellness. Her meticulous attention to detail garnered recognition in publications like Vogue, Allure, and Michigan Avenue Magazines. Embracing her passion for education, in 2020 Dana took on the role of an Educator within the company's Esthetics New Hire Program. Her curriculum encompasses facial modalities, product knowledge, SOPs, protocols, and business management, enriching aspiring estheticians with her wealth of experience. Beyond her professional pursuits, Dana is dedicated to health and wellness both at home and in her treatment room. Recently certified in Reiki 1&2, she eagerly anticipates the opportunities the Universe has in store for her future. In her leisure time, Dana finds solace in the great outdoors, indulging in activities such as hiking, paddleboarding, swimming, snow skiing, and pickleball. She cherishes moments of joy with her twin seven-year-olds, often hosting impromptu dance parties and cultivating a youthful spirit through yoga and culinary adventures.
