George Alderete Creative Ambassador, Keune Haircosmetics North America Based in Atlanta, George Alderete is the Creative Ambassador for Keune Haircosmetics North America, renowned for his innovative approach to the art of hair color placement. With over three decades of experience as a career colorist and global hair color educator, George is celebrated for his ability to break down complex techniques into easily understood methods, inspiring professionals across the industry. His engaging, informative, and dynamic teaching style has made him a sought-after educator and mentor. An award-winning colorist, George is a NAHA winner and four-time finalist, as well as the Bangstyle Supreme Artist of the Year. Recognized consistently as one of the top colorists worldwide, he’s a fixture at major trade shows and a guest artist both in the U.S. and internationally. As a member of the Beauty Underground Team, George embraces the freedom to create beauty without boundaries, pushing the limits of artistic expression. George’s expertise extends beyond the salon floor. He is a respected editorial contributor for top consumer and trade publications, including Vogue, InStyle, People, Marie Claire, Angelino, Self, Beauty Underground, Modern Salon, American Salon, Salon Today, Beauty Launchpad, Estetica, Tribute, and more. Before his current role, George owned multiple salons in Southern California for over 15 years. His salons were honored five times by Salon Today as one of the Top 200 Salons in America. While in Los Angeles, he also worked as a key colorist in television and film, adding to his diverse and impressive portfolio. George’s journey with professional haircare brands began in 1990 as an International Artist for Lanza Luxury Haircare. In 1992, he joined Redken, spending 15 years as a Global Performing Artist and facilitator, teaching advanced hair color techniques at the prestigious Redken Exchange in NYC.
