Jay has been Hairdressing for 23 years -19 years of which he has been a Full-Time Educator. Jay’s career started as an Apprentice at Vidal Sassoon in London at the age of 16. By the age of 20 he joined the Sassoon Academy Education team as an Educator and went on to run one of the Sassoon Academies in Central London By the age of 23. After spending almost 11 years at Sassoon, He continued to educate and conduct seminars around the world for his own brand, working as a freelance Education company. His quality of work and reputation as one of the most sought after haircutters in the world, caught the attention of many product companies including Goldwell, who created a global position in their company just for him! As the Creative Director of Haircutting & Education” for Goldwell, Jay was responsible for creating a global haircutting system and building and training a team of teachers around the world, who would then teach his methods of Hair cutting in their own respective countries.
