Kevin Nguyen – Wahl Lead Educator & Award-Winning Barber Kevin Nguyen, known as @yakuzabarber, is a Wahl Lead Educator for the U.S. Education Team, a multi-award-winning barber, and the proud owner of a successful barbershop for over 10 years. With 7+ years of experience as an educator, Kevin is passionate about inspiring and mentoring the next generation of barbers. Through determination and perseverance, Kevin has established himself as a leader in the industry, recently winning the One Shot Hair Award for Men’s Collection. His philosophy of continuous self-improvement allows him to turn weaknesses into strengths, striving daily to become the best version of himself. A firm believer in giving back, Kevin has traveled to Vietnam, China, the Philippines, Hawaii, and Mexico, using his barbering skills to provide free haircuts to the less fortunate. His philanthropic efforts, combined with his dedication to education, competitions, and industry events, have earned him 25+ trophies to date. As Wahl’s 2018 Barber Battle Winner, Kevin remains driven by hard work and passion, consistently attending hair shows, seminars, and competitions to refine his craft. Overjoyed to share his knowledge through the Wahl Education & Artistic Team, Kevin is committed to uplifting the barbering community and shaping the future of the industry.
