Monika Machej Founder of The New Age Spa Institute | Esthetics Educator | Industry Innovator Monika is a licensed esthetician, massage therapist, and nail technician whose passion for education has shaped a remarkable career in the beauty and wellness industry. With a strong foundation in providing specialized facial treatments, body therapies, speed waxing with European hard and soft wax, makeup applications, and lash & brow tinting, Monika quickly realized her true calling was in educating future professionals. In 1997, Monika was recruited to teach advanced skin care, body treatments, and makeup at the Conservatory of Esthetics/Bioelements Learning Center in Des Plaines, IL. This opportunity allowed her to collaborate with some of the industry's leading innovators, including Robert Diemer, known as the Father of Esthetics, and Barbara Salomone, a pioneer of the modern American facial. Monika’s expertise and dynamic teaching style made her a sought-after speaker at trade shows and industry conferences nationwide, where she has inspired countless salon and spa owners, estheticians, and wellness professionals. Driven by her vision to elevate education standards in the industry, Monika founded The New Age Spa Institute in June 2007. The institute offers comprehensive programs in Esthetics, Massage Therapy, and, as of 2012, Nail Technology, with a focus on helping both licensed and aspiring professionals reach their highest potential. Under her leadership, the school achieved the distinction of becoming the only internationally accredited Esthetics, Massage, and Nail Technology School in Illinois, a testament to Monika's commitment to excellence. Monika is an active member of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) and the Associated Skin Care Professionals (ASCP), organizations through which she continues to empower women and men to achieve professional success. Her dedication to fostering growth and confidence in others reflects her belief in the transformative power of education. Fluent in both Polish and English, Monika bridges cultures and communities, bringing a global perspective to her work.
