Taylor Jameson
Originally from Scotland, Taylor Jameson opened her first Hair Salon, Ziggy’s in Glasgow, with support from The Prince’s Trust Prince Charles Organization to help support small business owners, being named Young Entrepreneur of the year shortly after the business opened. After that, Ms. Jameson worked in Edinburgh, Scotland, where fate dealt her a hand, bringing her on a 20 plus year American adventure, which is still continuing. She moved to New York, and quickly found work in a busy East Village hair salon in 1988, when it was truly the East Village. She and her husband then moved to San Francisco, where she worked at Vidal Sassoon. After a two year stint in Britain, Jameson moved with her husband and two children to Cincinnati, Ohio, where her husband was from. Six months later, she opened, Taylor Jameson Hair Design.
Through an attentive Distributor, she was introduced to fellow Brit, Trevor Sorbie, becoming a Sorbie Art team member, eventually becoming head of the American Artistic team.
In 1998, she worked with Michael O'Rourke on several of his Product lines. In 2000, Ms, Jameson became one of the original Global team members for Eufora International, working with them for twelve years, becoming known for her great teaching abilities and Razor techniques, working closely with Chicago based Tondeo Traders on razor design. She was also Sojourns Artistic Director for two years.
Now, being an independent artist and teacher, Ms.Jameson has opened, Taylor Jameson Advanced Academy in the Historic Gaslight section of Clifton in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Currently, Ms.Jameson is becoming a Style influencer and Educator with Wilson Collectives, working closely with Phillip and Mary Wilson, while still pursuing her independent classes.
This year she will be teaching classes at Orlando Premiere, The ABS show in Chicago, and many independent In salon classes across the country. Her Classic Bohemian class is in high demand, and a must see.
