Cosmetologists Chicago has “adopted” a Beauty is LOVE campaign that supports our community through charitable initiatives. One special program is to work directly with Chicagoland’s Holsten Human Capital Development (HHCD), which offers a variety of services to strengthen at-risk populations by expanding their access to viable resources that promote self-sufficiency, wellness and stability through comprehensive service provision, developing low-income and affordable housing, and fostering economic development. HHCD also maintains partnerships with other nonprofits including Covenant House (which provides housing for homeless teens), CHA (Chicago Housing Authority), and DAX (DePaul University’s program providing housing for homeless college students).

Product donations will be collected at the close of ABS 2022. CC will deliver the products to HHCD for their residents.
